perry johnsonA business-to-business and consumer marketing specialist with 26 years of related experience, Perry directs Imagica’s creative programs, including the design and development of brochures, collateral, web programs, data mining, corporate identities and photography.

Prior to joining Johnson Communications in 1996, Perry was vice president of marketing and sales for Event Promotion Supply, Inc. (EPS), an international manufacturer of event and promotion supplies. While at EPS, Perry increased sales tenfold, from $600,000 to $6.8 million. He was responsible for new business development, public relations, key account management, event and program development, brochure design and development, direct mail campaigns and advertising. Perry developed and managed most of the company’s leading accounts, including the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games, Champion International, Chrysler Motor Corp., International Management Group, Anheuser Busch, Times Mirror Publications, Vail Associates and the Florida Lottery, to name a few.

Before joining EPS, Perry was the director of merchandising for the Inside Edge Skiers Catalog, a consumer catalog of quality ski merchandise with distribution in excess of one million copies. He also served as a program coordinator for the Marlboro Ski Challenge, a national recreational ski racing program with permanent installations at 18 of the top ski resorts in America.

Perry's marketing and sales expertise adds to his abilities as a photographer for both clients and his ability to get images published in a variety of media outlets including marketing trade catalogs, corporate reports, magazines, newspapers, websites and consumer and trade advertising. His work is represented internationally by AgeFotostock in Barcelona, Spain.

An avid outdoor enthusiast, Perry’s interests are as diverse as his areas of expertise and include triathlons, fishing, skiing (part-time ski instructor at Vail during the winter months teaching private lessons and adult clinics), wind & kite surfing, cycling, scuba diving and competitive tennis. Perry also plays best pal and coach to the couple’s 12-year old son, André.

Perry is a graduate of the University of Minnesota and holds a bachelor of arts degree in international relations, political science and economics as well as the Diplome Superior from the Chamber of Commerce- Paris, France and studied commercial photography at the École des Beaux-Arts, Toulon, France. He is bilingual in English and French.
